"Trophy Theme"[1] is a musical theme in Mario Kart World, where it plays in the trophy screen after finishing a Grand Prix, VS Race round, or Battle, regardless of the player's placement. This theme uses an electric guitar and brass for the melody, and piano and strings as accompaniment. It also quotes "Awards Ceremony (1st – 3rd Place)" from Super Mario Kart, "Mario Bros. Circuit" from Mario Kart World, and the 2̂-1̂-5̂-5̂ motif of "Staff Credits" from Mario Kart 64.
