"Rock Rock Mountain"[1] is a musical theme composed for Mario Kart 7, where it plays in the race course of the same name. It is a rock composition played on electric guitar.

The theme quotes "Title BGM" from the NES game Mach Rider, and a quote of "Staff Credits" from Mario Kart 64 can be heard before the theme loops.

Mario Kart 7 marks the first appearance of "Rock Rock Mountain." A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place. The version of the theme played during the final lap features a unique intro; this distinction is shared with "DK Jungle" in Mario Kart 7, "Toad Harbor," "Mute City" and "GBA Ribbon Road" in Mario Kart 8, and "SNES Bowser Castle 3" in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
