"Toad Harbor"[2] (formatted as "Toad Harbour" in PAL regions) is a musical theme composed by Shiho Fujii for Mario Kart 8, where it plays in the race course of the same name.

Mario Kart 8 marks the first appearance of "Toad Harbor". It is also included in the official Mario Kart 8 Original Soundtrack album, where it is formatted as "Toad Harbour", the course's European name, as it was only released in Europe, Japan, and Australia. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place. Both the original theme and the frontrunning remix return in the Nintendo Switch port, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, for the same purposes.

The version of the theme that plays during the final lap features a unique intro; this distinction is shared with "Rock Rock Mountain" and "DK Jungle" in Mario Kart 7, "Mute City" and "GBA Ribbon Road" in Mario Kart 8, "SNES Bowser Castle 3" in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and "Peach Beach" in Mario Kart World.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit[edit]

In Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, the original version of "Toad Harbor" plays in Lightning Lagoon.

Mario Kart World[edit]

Mario Kart World features two different arrangements of "Toad Harbor": a pop rock arrangement titled "Toad Harbor (Rock Ver.)" and a deep house arrangement titled "Toad Harbor (Electro Ver.)". Both arrangements can play in Free Roam, with the rock version playing during the day, and the electro version playing during nighttime. The rock version can also play on the route from Crown City to Whistlestop Summit in the Mushroom Cup and on VS Race routes coming from Koopa Troopa Beach, Peach Beach, and Salty Salty Speedway. The electro version also quotes part of the Highlight Reel version of "Dolphin Shoals (On the Sea)". As with other arrangements of themes from Mario Kart 8, the source game listed in the game's pause menu is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
