Appears in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (version 1.6.0)

The Master Cycle Zero is a standard bike introduced in version 1.6.0 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It is the signature bike of Champion's Tunic Link and a counterpart of the original Master Cycle. It is a standard bike based on the bike of the same name from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Unlike the original bike, which is classed as a sport bike and thus performs inside drifting, the Master Cycle Zero is a standard bike and drifts outwards.

The Master Cycle Zero's strengths are its weight, handling, and traction, while its weaknesses are its speed and acceleration. It shares its stats with the Tanooki Kart and the Koopa Clown, and is tied with both vehicle parts for having the highest traction in the game. It has a unique engine sound which is directly taken from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild when using the bike.

A CPU-controlled Champion's Tunic Link will occasionally use this vehicle body paired with the Ancient Tires and Paraglider.
