"Grumble Volcano"[1] is a musical theme in Mario Kart Wii, where it plays in the race course of the same name.

Mario Kart Wii marks the first appearance of "Grumble Volcano". It is also included in the official Mario Kart Wii Platinum Soundtrack album.
Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]

In Mario Kart 8 and the Nintendo Switch port, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, an arrangement of "Grumble Volcano" plays in Wii Grumble Volcano. It is likewise titled "Wii Grumble Volcano" on the Nintendo Music app and the official Mario Kart 8 Original Soundtrack album. Similarly to "3DS DK Jungle", "Wii Mushroom Gorge", "Madrid Drive (Museum)", and "Madrid Drive (Stadium)", this arrangement is nearly identical to the original version, save for the guitar and sitar being updated and the mastering being tweaked. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit[edit]
In Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, the Mario Kart 8 arrangement of "Grumble Volcano" plays in Ember Island and Fossil Fields.
Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, a metalstep arrangement of "Grumble Volcano" can play in Free Roam during the day and on VS Race routes coming from Desert Hills and Shy Guy Bazaar.
