New Super Mario Bros. Wii marks the first appearance of the "Title Theme," alongside four additional arrangements of the theme.

A brief arrangement of the "Title Theme" plays in the game's Wii Menu banner. This arrangement also incorporates the first six notes of "Ground BGM" from Super Mario Bros.

A slower-paced arrangement of the "Title Theme" plays in the ending cutscene when Luigi and the Toads arrive with hot air balloons. It then changes to a more faithful arrangement of the theme when Princess Peach asks Mario to tell her about his adventure. It is titled "Ending Demo,"[2] and was arranged by Ryo Nagamatsu.

An arrangement of the "Title Theme" is incorporated in the staff credits theme. It is titled "Staff Credit Roll,"[2] and was arranged by Ryo Nagamatsu.

A brief arrangement of the "Title Theme" plays in the Game Over screen, likewise titled "Game Over,"[2] and was arranged by Kenta Nagata. Whenever the theme is played in-game, Mario can be heard crying in the background during the appearance of the "Game Over" text.

The "Title Theme" is also included in the official album Super Mario History 1985-2010.
