1-up Blast is a minigame found in Green Toad Houses in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The minigame is played in a room with tracks floating above four cannons. Moving on the tracks are balloons worth different numbers of 1-Ups. Each world has a different configuration of tracks and 1-Up balloons. To play this minigame, each player must choose a cannon, then tilt Wii Remote to change the angle at which their character will be fired out of the cannon. Players must then press Two Button to fire the cannons. Players cannot get 1-Ups by touching the balloons themselves; they can get 1-Ups only by using the cannons. Each player wins 1-Ups equal to the total value of the balloons their character hits and pops. Each player can fire a cannon only once, and each balloon can be popped only once. It is possible to pop all the balloons in one shot. If that happens, the minigame ends, as there is nothing left for the remaining players to pop.
