A Gold Mini Goomba is a Mini Goomba under the effects of a Gold Ring in New Super Mario Bros. 2. Similar to other Gold Goomba variants in the game, defeating it grants the player some coins. They mainly appear in the Gold Mushroom Pack's second course. However, they can also be rarely be seen in the main story, in World 4-1 and 5-3.

Though included in the Japanese guidebook, this enemy is not in the enemy index for New Super Mario Bros. 2 in the Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia[1] or Mario Portal. This distinction is shared with the Gold Big Piranha.
