Para-Goombas[1] are Galoombas with wings, much like Flying Goombas except for the thorns that protect them from jump attacks. They made their appearance in Mario Clash. To defeat them, Mario must throw shells at them from a distance.

They also make a cameo appearance in WarioWare: Mega Microgame$!, which has a Mario Clash microgame.

Based on Pata Kuri (Flying Goomba);
pata is onomatopoea for flapping wings, tsun means "sharp"
