Variant of Urchin
Small Urchin

Small Urchins[1] are enemies in New Super Mario Bros. 2. Unlike regular Urchins, Small Urchins do not have mouths and do not move. Small Urchins appear in only two courses of the base game—World 3-2 and World 3-A. The First Course of the downloadable Coin Challenge Pack C also has Small Urchins. They can be defeated only with fireballs from Fire Mario, the tail attack of Raccoon Mario and White Raccoon Mario, and gold fireballs from Gold Mario, and by touching them as Invincible Mario and White Raccoon Mario.
