First Course, also known as Course 1[1], is the first level of the Coin Challenge Pack C in New Super Mario Bros. 2. It is the nineteenth DLC level in the game.
The level begins with a ? Block containing a Fire Flower, along with a Pipe Cannon leading to a room with a Super Star and some spikes, with three Brick Blocks containing Gold Mushrooms. The next room features a Super Leaf and a few more Brick Blocks containing Gold Mushrooms. The next room features a Mega Mushroom along with many Hidden Coins and Hard Blocks. The following room contains a Mini Mushroom along with some places to wall jump off of to find some + Clocks and more Gold Mushrooms. A Gold Flower follows, along with some jumps over some spikes which leads directly to the Goal Pole.

In Raccoon Mario's area, Mario must use the Super Leaf to fly to the upper area. The Star Coin is on the left hand side.

In Mega Mario's area, Mario must use the Mega Mushroom to go all the way to the right hand side. The Star Coin is located inside a square of blocks only Mega Mario can break.

In Gold Mario's area, Mario must perform a triple jump through the spikes, following the lines of coins. The Star Coin is located high up and can be collected midway through the third jump.
