World 5-5 is the fifth normal level of World 5 in New Super Mario Bros. 2. This level is based upon Bullet Bills, and also includes Snake Blocks.
Layout[edit]
Mario begins the level next to Snake Blocks that can be jumped on to reach a Warp Pipe. Jumping onto the platform to the right of the Snake Blocks causes a group of coins to appear under the pipe. When the pipe is entered, Mario enters an area with a Bill Blaster Turret and a group of ? Blocks over a Snake Block. Another Snake Block with a Bill Blaster Turret and a Coin Block above it is then found. Mario then arrives at a Bill Blaster Turret found next to a Brick Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom. Another Bill Blaster Turret is found, surrounded by two rising walls of Snake Blocks. Mario then arrives at the Checkpoint Flag, which is nearby four ? Blocks, one of which containing a power-up. Two Snake Blocks with Note Blocks in between them are encountered, along with a Bill Blaster Turret. A Red Ring is found above Note Blocks, in between two Bill Blaster Turrets. More ? Blocks and a Bill Blaster Turret are found, followed by a Banzai Bill Cannon. The Goal Pole is then found.
Star Coins[edit]
- Star Coin 1: Early in the level, the player must climb on the first Bill Blaster Turret to make the first Star Coin appear.
- Star Coin 2: After the midpoint flag, the player must enter into the green pipe between the two Bill Blasters to be blasted into the sky. The Star Coin is at the end of this sky area.
- Star Coin 3: At the end of this level, where the Banzai Bill Cannon is, the last Star Coin can be found. The player must jump on a Bullet Bill to avoid falling into a pit.
