"Wario Shipyard"[1] (known as "Wario's Galleon" in PAL regions) is a musical theme in Mario Kart 7, where it plays in the race course of the same name. This theme incorporates brief quotes of the "Main Theme" from Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, the "Title Theme" from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, and Mario Kart 7's own battle theme.

Mario Kart 7[edit]
Mario Kart 7 marks the first appearance of "Wario Shipyard".
A distorted arrangement of "Wario Shipyard" with heavy percussion plays during the underwater section. It is titled "Wario Shipyard (Underwater)" in the Nintendo Music app.
For both themes, a looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]
In Mario Kart Tour, the source-quality versions of both the original theme and the underwater arrangement of "Wario Shipyard" play in 3DS Wario Shipyard, which was first added in the Wario vs. Waluigi Tour.
Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Wario Shipyard" plays when racing in the course of the same name. When approaching Wario Shipyard from a route or during a rally before reaching the course's finish line, a simple prelude arrangement of "Wario Shipyard" plays.
A brief arrangement of "Wario Shipyard" is incorporated in the theme that plays during the intro cutscene for the Star Cup.

Notes[edit]
- "Wario Shipyard" is one of four race course themes in Mario Kart World that do not transition into codas, the other three being "Great ? Block Ruins", "Acorn Heights", and "Rainbow Road", as the former three only appear at the end of Knockout Tour rallies, while the latter doesn't appear in Knockout Tour whatsoever.
