After the release of Super Mario Run in 2016, the system's virtual assistant Siri was updated to respond with Super Mario–related phrases when the user said specific questions or sentences.[2] As of 2025, Siri no longer says these sentences. The possible responses included the following:

Upon being asked if it likes/plays Super Mario or Super Mario Run
  • One moment please. I'm working on my Floaty Jump.[2]
  • Can you wait a second? I'm in the middle of a Coin Rush.[2]
  • Remember. I am not an NES cartridge. Please don't blow on me.[2]
  • Well, I just set a reminder for Mario to put his overalls in the washing machine.[2]
  • I just wish Princess Peach would turn on Find My Friends.[2]
  • I'm playing Toad Rally with Mario as we speak. He's pretty tough to beat![2]
  • I'm turtle tipping as we speak...oops, there he goes![2]
  • Well, I can look for plumbers nearby. But not all of them can use a Warp Pipe.[2]

  • Yes! In fact, here's a tip: To do a wall jump, tap just as you reach a wall. Just don't hit the wall trying. Ha.[3]
  • Yes! In fact, here's a tip: If you're stuck on World 1-1, a long press can help you leap Goombas in a single bound.[3]
  • Yes! In fact, here's a tip: Step on a Pause Block to pause. And breathe. And plan your next move. Have a snack, perhaps.[3]
  • Yes! In fact, here's a tip: Enter Coin Rush mode by executing several special moves in a row. Whee![3]
Upon saying the phrase "It's Mario time"
  • More formally, it's Mario Mario time. I hear that's his last name. I can guess what his middle name is.[2]
  • Luigi says that sometimes it's Luigi time.[2]
  • Mamma mia!.[sic][4]
  • Ah spaghetti. Ah ravioli. Ah Mamma mia.[4]
  • Let's-a-go![4]
  • You're-a-telling me, [user]![4]
  • If I had a coin for each time I'd heard that, my Mushroom Kingdom would have so many Toad Houses by now.[4]
  • Oh yeah! Mario time![4]
  • Oh, Mario is putting on his overalls right now. It may take a moment. He's choosing from around 50 pairs, you know.[2]
  • Sorry, gotta run![2]
  • Okie Dokie![2]
