Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island marks the first appearance of "Bowser." It is also included in the official soundtrack album Super Mario: Yossy Island Original Sound Version, where it is titled 「クッパ」 (Kuppa, "Koopa").
The Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, contains its own arrangement of "Bowser," which plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a brief arrangement of "Bowser" is incorporated in the "Spring/Summer" variant of "Obstacle Course," which is an arrangement of "Athletic BGM" from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island by Shota Kageyama and can play in the Yoshi's Island stage. It is also included in the official album Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U: A Smashing Soundtrack.
