"Crocodile Cacophony (K. Rool's Theme)",[1][2] also known as simply "Crocodile Cacophony"[3] or "KRool",[sic][4] is a musical theme composed by David Wise for Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, where it plays during the boss battles against Kaptain K. Rool in the boss levels K. Rool Duel and Krocodile Kore. This theme incorporates a melody based on "Welcome to Crocodile Isle (Map Screen)" from the same game.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest marks the first appearance of "Crocodile Cacophony (K. Rool's Theme)". It is also included in the official albums Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest Original Soundtrack, Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy Original Sound Version, and Donkey Kong Country Trilogy.
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2, an arrangement of "Crocodile Cacophony (K. Rool's Theme)" arranged by Jamie Hughes plays for the same purposes as in the original game. It is simply titled "Crocodile Cacophony" in the game's sound test.

In Donkey Kong Land 2, a chiptune arrangement of "Crocodile Cacophony (K. Rool's Theme)" arranged by Grant Kirkhope plays during every boss battle in the game.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, an orchestral/metal arrangement of "Crocodile Cacophony (K. Rool's Theme)" arranged by Soshi Abe can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Donkey Kong-series stage. It is simply titled "Crocodile Cacophony" in the game's sound test. This arrangement incorporates two loops, with the second being lowered in key by a full step. It also quotes "K. Rool Returns (Title Theme)" from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest at multiple points throughout.
