Ingot Isle Cave-In is the first layer in the Underground World of Donkey Kong Bananza, occupying sublayers 1 and 10. It is a result of Ingot Isle being pushed underground by the Pay-Dirt Piledriver and is where Donkey Kong first meets Odd Rock. There are no fossils here.

During its initial visit, Donkey Kong and Odd Rock ascend to the top, defeat a Crockoid, and obtain a key to unlock the Void Stake, before breaking it to be able to dive down to the Lagoon Layer and start their journey together properly. This action also destroys the upper half of Baboomtown.

During the post-game, Poppy Kong and Grumpy Kong, having started a construction company together, can be found here, near the hole which once led to the Lagoon Layer, but is now patched up with a large metal grate. Grumpy Kong constructs a Warp Gong down in the mine where Odd Rock is first encountered at the start of the game, and will mention this if Donkey Kong talks to him before ringing it. Once the Warp Gong is rang, the Eelevator appears, spits out Pauline and reunites her with Donkey Kong. Additionally, for increasing sums of gold paid to Grumpy Kong, two Challenge Rushes can be made accessible – Battle Rush and Boss Rush – and Baboomtown and its surrounding area can be restored and have additional features added, which also includes a giant golden statue of Donkey Kong with a Banandium Gem on top of its head, and a sign honoring him as "The Hero of Ingot Isle".
