Kong Elder's Rehearsal Hall
Kong Elder's Rehearsal Hall is the first Bananza Rehearsal in Donkey Kong Bananza. It is hosted by the Kong Elder in the post-game. The challenges in this Rehearsal mainly consist of defeating enemies made of spiked concrete. The player must have collected 300 Banandium Gems before being allowed to attempt the Rehearsal.
Layout[edit]
Entrance[edit]
- “OK, you two! Show me your power!”
- —Kong Elder
The entrance consists of four Boom Rock Squeeloids surrounding a Spiked-Concrete Crockoid; the player must defeat the Crockoid to advance. Defeating it opens a door to the next area.
First Scrappin' Ground[edit]
- “More of Void's goons are lookin' to scrap with ya!”
- —Kong Elder
The player must take the Barrel Cannon to the main platform, which consists of several Crockoids. One of them is made of Spiked Concrete, which is the one that must be defeated.
Defeating the Spiked-Concrete Crockoid opens a door to the second room, consisting of a large pillar in the center with a tall Spiked-Concrete Crockoid on it. Five concrete Crockoids and six tall concrete pillars surround the area.
The player must defeat the Spiked-Concrete Crockoid to advance to the end of the First Scrappin' Ground, which houses the first Banandium Gem.
First-Scrap Detour[edit]
To the left of the final room, past the stone wall is a hidden area. The player must use the Bopper Switch to line up the Crockoids, then detonate the Seismic Splitter to defeat all the enemies. Doing this will award a Banandium Gem.
Second Scrappin' Ground[edit]
- “OK, on to the next one! Try to ride an explosive wave to an easy win!”
- —Kong Elder
Taking the Barrel Cannon from the end of the previous Scrappin' Ground leads to the next Scrappin' Ground, consisting of pools of lava and Boom Rock bombs. The player must use a Charge Punch to detonate the bombs and temporarily make the lava disappear. The player must use these explosions to defeat Spiked-Concrete Munchoids.
Defeating all Munchoids leads to the second room. In this room, the player must defeat six Spiked-Concrete Munchoids surrounding a large pool of lava in a winding pattern.
The player must defeat all six Munchoids to advance to the end of the Second Scrappin' Ground, which houses a Banandium Gem.
Second-Scrap Detour[edit]
In the second secret area, the player must use a Gloo Gum platform to defeat two Munchoids. Doing this awards a Banandium Gem.
Third Scrappin' Ground[edit]
- “OK! These jumpy jerks are the catch of the day. Punch 'em, drop 'em... Up to you!”
- —Kong Elder
Taking the Barrel Cannon from the end of the Second Scrappin' Ground leads to the Third Scrappin' Ground, consisting of shuffling elements and Spiked-Concrete Stompoids. In the first room, the player must defeat a Stompoid on a platform that shuffles between mud and stone, then defeat two Stompoids on a large platform that shuffles between stone and concrete.
Defeating all Stompoids leads to the second room, consisting of two Stompoids on a giant platform shaped like the number 8. The outer rectangle is made of concrete, and the platform in the center is made of thorns. These elements shuffle between each other.
The player must defeat both Stompoids to advance to the end of the Third Scrappin' Ground, which houses a Banandium Gem.
Third-Scrap Detour[edit]
In the third secret area, the player must use two Neptunite Wallopoids to crush two Stompoids. Doing this awards a Banandium Gem.
Fourth Scrappin' Ground[edit]
- “I'm digging your style! Next, take out the burrowing baddies!”
- —Kong Elder
Taking the Barrel Cannon from the end of the Third Scrappin' Ground leads to the Fourth Scrappin' Ground, consisting of Rolluskoids and Spiked-Concrete Molevoloids. In the first room, the player must defeat two Molevoloids by punching the Rolluskoids into them.
Defeating all Molevoloids leads to the second room, consisting of a circular platform with a Molevoloid in the center, surrounded by stone walls.
The player must defeat the Molevoloid to advance to the end of the Fourth Scrappin' Ground, which houses a Banandium Gem.
Fourth-Scrap Detour[edit]
In the fourth secret area, the player must use Squeeloids to defeat two Molevoloids hanging from the ceiling. Doing this awards a Banandium Gem.
Fifth Scrappin' Ground[edit]
- “That iron ball looks familiar, eh? Cast it back with a powerful punch!”
- —Kong Elder
Taking the Barrel Cannon from the end of the Fourth Scrappin' Ground leads to the Fifth Scrappin' Ground, consisting of a large platform with four Hōdai. In front of the platform is a large sloped spiky platform with five Crockoids on it. The player must use the iron balls fired from the Hōdai to defeat the Crockoids.
After defeating the enemies, the player must take the Barrel Cannon to the end of the Fifth Scrappin' Ground.
Fifth-Scrap Detour[edit]
In the final secret area, the player must punch iron balls into ramps to defeat Crockoids on floating platforms of thorns. Doing this awards a Banandium Gem.
Kong Elder's Throne[edit]
- “Last stop! Use that massive iron ball to catch all of these goons off guard!”
- —Kong Elder
Continuing past the large concrete wall at the end of the Fifth Scrappin' Ground leads to the final area, consisting of ten Spiked-Concrete Crockoids in a line behind a giant iron ball. The player must simply hit the ball with a Charge Punch and roll it into all the enemies.
