Rubber is a terrain type in Donkey Kong Bananza. It is a dark turquoise substance commonly found in geometric shapes. It lacks a strength type, meaning that it is indestructible. Donkey Kong can bounce on rubber, and holding the jump button while doing so bounces him higher. Dive Punching onto rubber also launches Donkey Kong. Rubber is introduced in the Forest Layer, specifically the Rubbery Roost on sublayer 601. Here, a soft variant of rubber, known as Fragile Rubber, also appears.

In the Groove Layer, Swap Harps can be found that swap pure gold and rubber, allowing chunks of rubber to be obtained. The Great Harmoneel's body behaves and is classified as rubber. The tires on DK Island are made of rubber. The tire found in the Nostalgia Country challenge behaves like rubber, although its classifiation as rubber is unknown. In the Ostrich Elder's Rehearsal Hall, the Bouncy-Bounce Park section features Trailfinoids and throw zones that generate rubber.
