The Kong Bananza is a Bananza that Donkey Kong can activate in Donkey Kong Bananza to transform into a larger, more powerful Kong, granting him enhanced abilities such as stronger punches and an exclusive Charge Punch that he can charge up to release an even stronger punch. It is the first of the five Bananzas learned in the game, and is learned from the Kong Elder in the Lagoon Layer, Sublayer 101.
In the Donkey Kong Bananza event for Super Mario Run, a statue of the Kong Bananza form was added as a Kingdom Builder item, unlocked by completing Pauline's set of missions, and the "Kong Bananza" theme is used for the missions menu's background music. The form also appears as the icon for the Donkey Kong Bananza theme in Tetris 99.
