Member of Kinoko Police

Gori Keibu is the Kinoko Police inspector that appears in Super Mario Land 2 - 6-tsu no Kinka 3 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. He is a Kong, identical to Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr., wearing a police uniform and cap with the word「警察」(keisatsu, "police") written on it. Despite carrying a gun holster, he is only seen waving a baton.

He serves as the squad leader in charge of the BomBom Ginkō robbery investigation, for which Mario and his friends were framed. Following the leads, he arrests Luigi and Yoshi at Mario's castle, but when putting them in the car, the police find Wario, Kurokyura, and Bopping Toady disguised as the culprits, and the inspector figures that members one of the groups are imposters and the actual thieves. After finding Mario, the two trios are taken to the police station, where Princess Peach is tricked into bailing out the wrong group. The real Mario team is then beaten up by Gori, who intends on torturing the location of their weapons and stolen goods out of them. After the beating, he locks them up in the cell, denying them a meal. Faking an escape, Mario and Luigi hide in Yoshi's mouth, and when Gori enters the cell to investigate their disappearance, the brothers jump out and knock the inspector out cold and then escape. After Mario brings the real culprits to the police, Gori is still convinced that he originally locked up the imposters, so he charges Wario and his gang for the jailbreak, on top of the robbery and identity theft.
