Maman is Diddy Kong's mother who appears in the Diddy Kong Racing issue of 4koma Gag Battle. She is depicted wearing a dress with an apron, a pair of slippers, and gloves; however, her head is not visible, and unlike her son, she does not appear to have a tail. After crashing his plane on Snowflake Mountain, Diddy Kong admires the scenery and recalls Christmas from his childhood. In one of the flashbacks, his mother appears holding a plate of turkey; at the end of the strip, Diddy is shown on the ground, delirious from the cold, laughing and saying “Mommy”. Diddy Kong’s mother appears only in this manga; she is never seen or mentioned in the game Diddy Kong Racing.
