The Kinoko Keisatsusho is the Kinoko Police HQ that appears in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 6 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga.
Located in Toad Town, just southeast of Peach's Castle, is a giant Toad House with at least four floors. For an icon, it has a Star with the letters "K" and "P" engraved on it.
The building is first seen and visited by Mario, newly appointed chief detective of the Special Kinoko Police after arresting Bowser, taking him to the station to interrogate about a theft he was framed for. Right after, the real culprits dig right into the station, and a chase ensues in the parking lot, where the thieves take a secret weapon stored there, the F1 Hanachan. Eventually, they crash into a wall and Mario is able to arrest them.
In the subsequent chapters, of the building, only the common area, the captain's office, and the communication room are briefly seen.
It reappears in Super Mario Land 2 - 6-tsu no Kinka 3, where Mario and his friends are framed by the disguised Wario gang for a bank robbery. Having mistakenly identified the real trio as the imposters, the police put them in a holding cell, but they escape by pretending that Mario and Luigi have fleed, while they were hidden in Yoshi's mouth, to which the inspector enters the cell and is knocked out, leaving the door open. In the end, the Wario gang is arrested, but still believing to have correctly identified the criminals, the police charges them for the jailbreak too.
