The F1 Hanachan is a secret weapon created by the Kinoko Police that appears in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 6 and Super Mario Kart 3 volumes of the Super Mario Kodansha manga.
It is a speedy vehicle shaped like a Wiggler, and just like it, being hit cause the vehicle to turn red from rage and boost his speed. While being chased by the cops and the Special Kinoko Police, the Choropū-tachi uses the F1 Hanachan to escape them. While Luigi gets run over, Mario and Yoshi chases the thieves. Yoshi manages to stop them by eating one of the segments, causing the car to swerve and crash into a wall, knocking out the criminals.
In Super Mario Kart 3, four Baby Yoshis use the vehicle to partake in the Super Mario Cart Rally.
