Style Shops are locations in Donkey Kong Bananza where Donkey Kong can exchange any fossils he collected for britches, neckwear, and fur colors for himself and outfits for Pauline. They appear in every layer except Ingot Isle Cave-In, the Divide, the Junction, and the Racing Layer (as fossils are not found in these layers), with each shop's items requiring fossils found within the layer to purchase and the clothing style varying depending on the layer. Most Style Shops are run by Styletone, though some are run by a shopkeeper native to the layer. Trustytone from the Getaways can also simulate Style Shops. A Style Shop also often appears in front of a sinkhole entrance after defeating a boss. Purchased items can be accessed from closets, which are located near Style Shops or in Getaways.

Wearing clothing bought from Style Shops grants different status boosts for Donkey Kong, such as faster movement and increased Bananza time. Most of them also have levels, which can be increased (up to level 3) by exchanging more or rarer fossils to enhance their effect.

Most Style Shops sell two sets of britches, one tie, and two fur colors for Donkey Kong, and three sets of clothing for Pauline: one base color scheme that can be enhanced up to level 3 and two alternate color schemes of the same design. These two can only be purchased while Donkey Kong owns the base color, and their level and effect rate are dependent on the base color's current level and rate.
