History[edit]
Mario's Time Machine[edit]
Bread, also called the Loaf of Bread, is an item in the PC and SNES releases of Mario's Time Machine. Mario obtains it after giving a Beret to an apprentice sculptor in Florence circa 1503, who was previously complaining about being cold. Once the sculptor receives the Beret, he thanks Mario by giving him the Bread, which he says was made by his mother. The Bread can then be given to a nearby painter, who asks Mario to bring him food in exchange for some paint. He gladly accepts the Italian bread and gives Mario the Paint in return.
Donkey Kong Bananza[edit]
In Donkey Kong Bananza, bread appears as a edible type of terrain found in the Feast Layer, mostly found on the Banana Burger. When wearing the Yum-Yum Tie, destroying this terrain will heal Donkey Kong.
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book[edit]
In Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, bread can be made by the Shy Guys living in the house near the Little Mouser Nest. After rescuing and taking the three Shy Guys home, Yoshi must retrieve some wheat from the cave and take it back to the Shy Guys who will use it to make bread. One discovery involves feeding a piece of bread to a Little Mouser.
