“You found us! Four of us hid nearby. Find us all— try, try, try!”
Hiddentone, Donkey Kong Bananza

The Hiddentones are Fractones that appear in Donkey Kong Bananza. They appear in groups of four throughout the Underground World, accompanied by a Seekertone, who challenges Donkey Kong to find them all. Unlike most other Fractones, the Hiddentones are not initially made of Fractonium, instead taking the form of nearby terrain to camouflage themselves, such as dirt, stone, or concrete. They stand motionless with their eyes closed until Donkey Kong destroys their body, after which they will reform as Fractonium and move excitedly, congratulating Donkey Kong for discovering them. After all four Hiddentones in the area have been found, player will be rewarded a Banandium Gem. If the player resets the terrain or travels to a different layer, all Hiddentones will revert to their original hiding state.
