Arrangements[edit]
Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]
Two brief arrangements of "Stonecarving City" appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl; the first is incorporated into "Waluigi Pinball," and the second serves as Wario's victory theme. Interestingly, both these arrangements predate the original; Super Smash Bros. Brawl released in January 2008, while Wario Land: Shake It! released later that year.
According to an interview with Tomoya Tomita (the composer of Wario Land: Shake It!), "Stonecarving City" was a music piece he received from Nintendo, so the theme was presumably composed for Super Smash Bros. Brawl first and then repurposed for Wario Land: Shake It!. He believes the pieces he received were composed by Minako Hamano.[1]
"Waluigi Pinball" reappears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where it can play on the Mario Circuit (Brawl) stage, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where it can play on any Super Smash Bros.- or Mario Kart-series stage. In the latter, it is renamed to "Waluigi Pinball - Mario Kart DS."
Wario's victory theme returns in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, serving the same purpose. In Ultimate, the theme is sped up slightly to compensate for the game's faster victory screens.

Wario Land: Shake It![edit]
In addition to the original theme, an Afro-Cuban jazz arrangement of "Stonecarving City" plays as the "escape" theme for Stonecarving City, Launchpad Labyrinth, and Run-Down Pyramid. This arrangement is titled "Launchpad Labyrinth" in the Media Room.

Mario Party 10[edit]
An arrangement of "Stonecarving City" appears in Mario Party 10. It is called "Wario's Theme" in the sound test, and it plays during Wario's turn during amiibo Party. It has a very different instrumentation compared to the original, featuring a horn, triangle, and piano.

- ^ "Minako Hamano-san is also listed as a music credit. Did you two collaborate together? We didn't actually collaborate. Right when I began the project, Nintendo sent me three pieces used in previous Wario titles (one of which was Greenhorn Ruins) and said, "Here—use these." I imagine Hamano-san composed those. [...] In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wario's victory theme was an arrangement of the Stonecarving City theme from Shake It!, which hadn't yet come out. Were you involved in this special cameo? No, that was another piece I received from Nintendo. I didn't do anything for Brawl." – Anthony Palone, Tomoya Tomita (March 17, 2017). An Interview with Game Composer Tomoya Tomita.
