"Phase Clear"[1] is a musical jingle composed by Hirokazu Tanaka for Wrecking Crew, where it plays when the player completes any phase (sans the bonus stages).

Wrecking Crew marks the first appearance of "Phase Clear". It is also included in the official albums Game Sound Museum: Wrecking Crew and Famicom 20th Anniversary Original Sound Tracks Vol.1.

Wrecking Crew '98[edit]

In Wrecking Crew '98, a chiptune arrangement of "Phase Clear" is featured in the game's port of Wrecking Crew, where it plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, a medley of the original versions of "Game Start", "Phase BGM", "Phase Clear", "Bonus Phase", "Golden Hammer", and "Game Over" from Wrecking Crew can play in the Duck Hunt stage. It is titled the "Wrecking Crew Retro Medley" in the game's sound test.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the "Wrecking Crew Retro Medley" from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS can play in the Wrecking Crew stage.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the "Wrecking Crew Retro Medley" from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and "Other"-series stage.

Super Mario Maker[edit]

In Super Mario Maker, the original version of "Phase Clear" when the player completes a level as Costume Mario with the Foreman Spike costume.
