Drum (Wrecking Crew)
A drum,[1][2] also referred to as a Dead-End Drum (originally lowercase),[3] is a type of solid object in Wrecking Crew that cannot be demolished. Drums are mostly used as a way to block a path.
Drums can be dropped on enemies or players by breaking the pillar beneath to permanently trap them inside (including Foreman Spike). If the player gets trapped inside a drum, the phase needs to be restarted. Players and enemies are capable of walking on drums; however, it can lead to them getting stuck.
Drums reappear in the Wrecking Crew stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the latter of which refers to them as oil drums.[4] Fighters can get trapped inside them in a similar manner to the original game, leaving them vulnerable to opponents. An oil drum can be broken if the fighter wriggles around, an opponent launches them out, or a floor above it falls on top of it.
