Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U: A Smashing Soundtrack (known as Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / for Wii U: Premium Sound Selection in British English[3] and originally as Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U: Premium Sound Selection) is the original soundtrack for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It was exclusive to Club Nintendo members and was available for free to those who registered both games before January 13, 2015, in North America and January 20 in Japan, Europe, and Australia.

The soundtrack consists of two discs, with 72 music tracks in total. The red disc features 36 tracks from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, while the blue disc features 36 tracks from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

The soundtrack was shipped to eligible Club Nintendo members in February 2015 in Japan, in March 2015 in North America and Europe, and in April 2015 in Australia.

Trivia[edit]

  • The "Mario Paint Medley" music plays on the downloadable Miiverse stage on the Wii U version of the game. However, the music was first revealed in the blue soundtrack disc before the Miiverse stage was able to be downloaded.
    • Another music tracks for the Miiverse stage, "Mii Plaza," was also revealed on the blue disc prior to its appearance in the Wii U version of the game, although it can be first heard on the Tomodachi Life stage in the 3DS version.
