"Super Mario World Medley"[1] is a musical theme composed by Hiroshi Okubo for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where it can play in the Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Maker stages. As the name suggests, it is a medley arrangement of several themes from Super Mario World.
Composition[edit]
The theme consists of arrangements of the following themes, in order of appearance:
- "Ground BGM"
- The percussion in "Yoshi Ground BGM" is included in the second loop of "Ground BGM".
- "Bonus Game BGM"
- "Course Clear"
- "Star World (Map Screen)"
- "Invincibility BGM"
- "Ground BGM" from Super Mario Bros. is arranged in the "Invincibility BGM" part of the medley as a countermelody.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U marks the first appearance of "Super Mario World Medley".
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original version of "Super Mario World Medley" can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
