Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic marks the first appearance of "Bonus Chance: Win". When that game was later redeveloped as Super Mario Bros. 2, the jingle was given slightly more enhanced instrumentation, which is the version subsequent appearances of the theme in the Super Mario franchise are based on. The Super Mario Bros. 2 version is also included in the official albums FAMICOM 20TH ANNIVERSARY GAMEMUSIC DVD, Game Sound Museum: Mario Bros. / Super Mario USA, and Famicom Sound History Series: Mario the Music as part of a medley with "Bonus Chance" and "Bonus Chance: Lose" from the same game.
In the Super Nintendo Entertainment System remake of Super Mario Bros. 2 in Super Mario All-Stars, an arrangement of "Bonus Chance: Win" plays for the same purposes as in the original game.
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Advance, a slightly higher-pitched arrangement of "Bonus Chance: Win" plays for the same purposes as in the original game.
