Jed Junior is Cowboy Jed's son who only appears in various American commercials for Mario Kart Wii. In the only released commercial where he appears, Jed shows an example where Jed Junior is playing Mario Kart Wii by steering the Wii Wheel to prove the game's enjoyability. Nintendo allegedly also released some unused clips for the commercials, where Jed Junior would have made more appearances, and his father would be portrayed as more of a cowboy or farmer.[citation needed]
