Jamie Louise Anderson is an American professional snowboarder who won the gold medal in the Women's Slopestyle Event in the 2014 Winter Olympics and 2018 Winter Olympics. She appeared in an American commercial for Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.[1]
In the commercial, after introducing herself, Anderson says she is training for the Olympic Games and wants to show the world what Snowboard Slopestyle is about, but she needs to take breaks sometimes and wishes to be with her friends. She calls her friends and asks them if they are thinking what she is thinking. Her friends are revealed to be Mario and Sonic, who agree to join her. After a montage of Anderson, Mario, and Sonic playing Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, she says she is done playing in their universe and wants to play in her universe. After Mario and Sonic wave goodbye, a montage of Anderson snowboarding plays as Mario is still playing the game. After Anderson finishes snowboarding, she asks Mario and Sonic if they want to try snowboarding, pointing to two snowboards, to which they refuse by waving their hands.
