Takehiko Hosokawa is a game designer employed by Nintendo since 1991. A veteran of Nintendo R&D1 and its successor Nintendo SPD1, he has been heavily involved in the Wario Land and Metroid series.

  • I only joined Nintendo a year and a half ago [early 1991], and this was the first game I was really allowed to do some solid work on. I started out as an assistant character designer, but by the end, I was sort of half a Director.[1]
