Megumi Hayashibara (Japanese: 林原 めぐみ, Hayashibara Megumi; born March 30, 1967) is a prolific Japanese voice actress, singer and lyricist. She provides the voice of Diddy Kong in the Japanese dub of the Donkey Kong Country television series. She also voices various Pokémon in the Super Smash Bros. series.

In relation to Nintendo media, Hayashibara is the voice of Jessie in the Pokémon anime and Freyja in Fire Emblem Heroes. She is also well-known as the voice of Rei Ayanami in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Lina Inverse in Slayers, and the female version of Ranma Saotome in Ranma ½.
