Dan Castellaneta is an American actor, best known for his voice roles, particularly many of the characters in The Simpsons, including the series' main character Homer Simpson, and the Genie in non-theatrical spin-off content in Disney's Aladdin franchise, taking over from Robin Williams following a dispute between Williams and Disney over the character's presence in marketing.

Castellaneta provides the prologue narration about the extinction of the dinosaurs in the 1993 Super Mario Bros. film. His surname is misspelled as "Castellenetta" in the film's credits.

Castellaneta also portrays Mario in all of his parody appearances on The Simpsons, with the exception of The Simpsons Game, where he is portrayed by Hank Azaria.
