Mike Inglehart is a former employee of Next Level Games, where he served as the game director of Super Mario Strikers, Mario Strikers Charged, and Punch-Out!! for the Wii. In the latter, he also voices the character Super Macho Man.

Inglehart worked at Gray Matter Studios and Radical Entertainment before joining Next Level Games in 2002.[1] In 2008, he was rated the 97th-best developer of the year by the video game magazine Edge.[1] In December 2010, Inglehart left Next Level Games to become the Head of Creative at Hothead Games until August 2021; he is currently a Senior Design Director at Electronic Arts.[2]

In April 2022, Inglehart was interviewed by the YouTube channel GameXplain about his work on the Mario Strikers series and Punch-Out!!. During the interview, he explained that he was surprised at the positive reception of past games in the Mario Strikers series and expressed enthusiasm for the release of Mario Strikers: Battle League.[3]:1:52 Inglehart also credited the appearance of Donkey Kong as an opponent in Punch-Out!! to the creative thinking of one of the game's producers, Kensuke Tanabe, calling him "full of surprises".[3]:47:41
