Pietro Ubaldi is an Italian voice actor, known for providing the voice for numerous iconic cartoon characters, as well as children's merchandise commercials as the narrator, cartoon songs, and movie characters. Most notably, he is known for voicing Doraemon since 2003, Scooby-Doo in the first animated movies of the franchise, the titular protagonist of Geronimo Stilton in all media (commercials, audiobooks, and theater plays) except for the animated series, Hector Barbossa in all the Pirates of the Caribbeans movies, and Patrick Star in all SpongeBob SquarePants media.
He also provided his voice for a few secondary characters in The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3: Mighty Plumber, Crime Wave Clyde, and Emperor Ed. In the never-aired Italian dub of the Donkey Kong Country animated series, he voiced King K. Rool.[2] In his last work for Super Mario media, he voiced Captain Orion in the Italian dub of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
In video game-related cartoons, he also voiced Meowth since the seventh season of Pokémon, Kabu in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, and Sonic in all three DIC Entertainment cartoons. His work on video games also includes Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, where he dubbed Charles Martinet's character Orvus.
