Adrian Smith is a 3D artist formerly employed by Rare. After graduating from the National Centre for Computer Animation at Bournemouth University, his first work at Rare was on Donkey Kong Country,[1] where he developed the model for Winky and served as the background designer of the world maps and the Mine Cart and industrial levels. For Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Smith worked on the backgrounds for the ship deck, ship interior, and ice levels.[2][3]
