Secret Agent N is a character from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "On Her Majesty's Sewer Service". A wise man with a British accent, Agent N runs Super Spy Headquarters, a base located beneath Spy Land. When his top agent James Blond is turned to stone by Koopfinger, Agent N asks Princess Toadstool to recruit Mario and Luigi into stopping Koopfinger. He is a reference to both M and Q from the James Bond franchise.
Upon meeting the Mario Bros., Agent N presents Mario and Luigi with their Spymobile, along with various plumber-related spy tools, like a laser drill and an atomic screwdriver. Afterwards, he sends them on their mission to Fort Hard Knox to stop Koopfinger. Agent N does not appear again until Mario and Luigi succeed in defeating Koopfinger, to which he congratulates them. He is then unable to stop Mario from testing his new spaghetti bomb, but Mario does not mind, for he claims to like spicy food.
