Greater location | Mushroom Kingdom |
Sharewood Forest is a large forest located near the town of Sharewood Village; not much of Sharewood Forest, such as what creatures live in it, is seen. It is based upon, both in name and appearance, the real life Sherwood Forest.
In The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Hooded Robin and His Mario Men", Sharewood Forest is only briefly seen. Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Toadstool, while searching for Sharewood Village, become lost in Sharewood Forest, and soon find themselves caught in a net and suspended from a tree; Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool are eventually saved from the Koopa Troopas who had captured them by Hooded Robin, who, using his ability to imitate voices, pretends to be the Sheriff of Koopingham and orders the Koopa Troopas to leave and collect all the daisies they can find in Sharewood Forest.
