Dead Man's Curve is a location appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "The Great BMX Race." During the episode, King Koopa tells Team Koopa, who Mario and Luigi are racing against, to attack them when they reach Dead Man's Curve, planning to get rid of the Mario Bros. once and for all. When the Mario Bros. arrive at the curve, King Koopa tells Team Koopa to begin "Operation Smash 'Em," with them driving towards the Mario Bros. in an attempt to push them off the cliff. With Team Koopa fast approaching them, the Mario Bros. lose focus on the race and subsequently hit a rock, causing them to lose control of their motorcycle and fall off the cliff.

As Mario and Luigi plummet from the cliff, the former opens the container attached to the front of their motorcycle, which contains a plunger with a rope attached to it. After throwing the plunger onto the rock on Dead Man's Curve, he and Luigi use the pedals on their motorcycle to climb back up the cliff and head to the Great BMX Race's finish line.

In the Latin American Spanish dub, the curve is said to be more than 1,000 meters from the ground.[1]
