Kasa de Koopa[1] is a castle located in the Land of Romance that appears in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Mario and Joliet", and is ruled by King Koopa.
In the episode, King Koopa witnesses Romano's father and Joliet's father reconcile with each other from his mirror, and is outraged by the news. After realizing Princess Toadstool is responsible for making the two fathers shake hands, he pulls a lever on the mirror, and his reflection gives him the idea to stop the wedding by kidnapping Joliet and blaming it on Romano's family. He then sends an Albatoss to abduct Joliet, to which Toad sees and warns everyone about.
With Romano and Joliet's fathers continuing their feud, Mario, his friends, and Romano all escape via a hatch door, to which they all agree King Koopa is behind their continued feud. They arrive at Kasa de Koopa, and notice the moat is infested with Trouters. Mario then jumps onto a nearby pile of logs, rolling them onto the river for use as stepping stones. Toad, Princess Toadstool, and Luigi all successfully cross the river with the logs, but Romano is unable to, and falls into the moat. An incoming Trouter then chases him across the river, but not before he, along with Mario and his friends are all captured in a net.
King Koopa traps the heroes in the same prison cell as Joliet with help from his Super Troopa named Grunt, and puts him in charge of guarding the now imprisoned heroes. Toad and Princess Toadstool manage to cause Grunt to fall through the floor by lifting three dumbbells, but afterwards Mario states that Grunt had the key. Joliet starts plucking the pedals of her bouquet of Fire Flowers, which Mario then uses to transform into Super Mario. He shoots a Fireball at the door, knocking it over and allowing him and his friends to escape. The heroes run down the castle's stairs before running into King Koopa and his Koopa Troopas. While Super Mario keeps the Koopa Troopas busy, the others place the door he previously knocked down onto some of Grunt's dumbbells, and rush their newly crafted vehicle down the stairs just as Mario's super form wears off.
Mario then catches a ride on his friends' vehicle, and they narrowly avoid the Koopa Troopas in the way while careening down the stairs. The vehicle heads towards King Koopa, who runs towards a nearby lever to close the drawbridge. However, it ends up being used as a ramp launching the heroes across the Trouter-infested moat, causing King Koopa to growl in frustration.
