Castle O'Koopa[1] is a castle located in the Shamrock Kingdom that appears in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Mighty McMario and the Pot of Gold", and is ruled by King O'Koopa.

The castle sits at the edge of a cliff, and is first seen after Mouser reports to King O'Koopa about Mario and his friends' plan to put an end to O'Koopa's plans. After Murphy tells the heroes that his Pot of Gold Coins is at Castle O'Koopa, Mario and Princess Toadstool suggest that Murphy stay out to guard the secret passage to the castle. Upon entering, the Pot of Gold Coins is in a cage guarded by Beezos. Mario and his friends discover the pot is connected to a bell that will alarm the Beezos, and decide to have Toad hold the clapper in place. However, Murphy believes his friends are in trouble after realizing they were taking long to retrieve the pot. Upon arriving, Murphy's bad luck affects Mario and his friends, causing the bell to ring. King O'Koopa then traps the heroes in the cage the pot was originally enclosed in.

Later, King O'Koopa shackles Princess Toadstool's foot to his throne while Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Murphy are trapped in the dungeon. Mario gets the attention of two Koopa Troopa guards by bashing a stool against the ceiling. When they enter the cell to see what is going on, Mario bashes the ceiling again, causing several bricks to fall down and crush the Koopa Troopas. When O'Koopa is informed by Mouser that Mario and his friends escaped, he opts to hide the Pot of Gold Coins somewhere else, threatening to turn him into Swiss cheese if anything happens to Princess Toadstool. Afterwards, Luigi and Toad taunt Mouser and the Koopa Troopa guards to start chasing them into a hallway with multiple doors. With the guards distracted, Mario uses his All Purpose Portable Plumber's Helper to break Princess Toadstool's chains. Luigi and Toad eventually hit an open door after O'Koopa captures Murphy, using his bad luck.

Mario successfully frees Princess Toadstool, but then discovers Luigi, Toad, and Murphy have been captured by King O'Koopa. Mario informs O'Koopa that he will be flooded from the rain like everybody else in the Shamrock Kingdom. O'Koopa replies that he already planned ahead; he will load the gold coins in his Royal Yacht and sail away. Murphy states there is no fighting his bad luck, and Mario realizes that is what he and his friends were doing wrong. He states that to defeat O'Koopa is not by being his enemy, but by being his best friend. Afterwards, Murphy gives O'Koopa a hug, resulting in unlucky circumstances occurring to him. O'Koopa launches a Fireball at Murphy using his Shamrock scepter, but it ends up landing in a nearby powder magazine resulting in Castle O'Koopa getting destroyed.
