The song plays as Cheatsy and Kooky begin dropping Koopa Color Goopa all over citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom. The song was composed by Evan Roberts, Michael Tavera, and Joellyn Cooperman.
The instrumental was played in place of "Magic Carpet Ride" in "Mario's Magic Carpet," the second instance of "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" in "Mario and the Beanstalk," the second instance of "Jungle Love" in "Jungle Fever," "Peter Gunn" in "The Adventures of Sherlock Mario," "Splish Splash" in "20,000 Koopas Under the Sea," and "Workin' for a Livin'" in "Plummers Academy."

Lyrics[edit]
Zoomin' down down
Down, down, down!
To change the town
Town, town, town!
Half will be red!
Half will be blue!
Brother against brother!
Divided in two!
When the Koopas
Paint the town!
Yes! (Hey, Salvador Dali!)
The fate of the kingdom
Will be up against the wall! (Wall, wall!)
When folks of different colors
Can't get along at all! (Yeah!)
What's the matter with you?!
We're Koopas! (Yeah!)
Hey, Botticelli! Hand me a paintbrush!
Give us room!
Room, room, room!
To bring doom, doom, doom!
Doom, doom, doom!
Right from the start!
Up 'til the end!
Neighbor fighting neighbor!
Friend against friend!
When the Koopas (Koopas!)
Paint the town! (Yes!)
When the Koopas
Paint the town!
