The following is a list of the various songs featured in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! The first forty-one episodes each contained one copyrighted song that was edited out in later airings, except for the first instance of "Jungle Love". The songs all remain intact in foreign dubs (except the Mandarin Chinese dub), however.
"The Mario Rap"[edit]
- Main article: Mario Brothers Rap
Before every live-action episode, "The Mario Rap" plays Mario and co. travel through different lands on a magic carpet. This song serves as the intro to the show.
A shorter version of the song plays before every animated episode as Mario and Luigi get sucked down pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom.
"The Mario Rap" does not play in the first Italian dub, the European Spanish dub, and the Korean dub, being replaced by different songs. It also does not play before Club Mario episodes, being replaced by Club Mario. In the French version, "The Mario Rap" replaces Do the Mario.
The song was dubbed into French, German, Italian, and Russian—while not dubbed, the Traditional Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, and Swedish VHS versions have subtitles. The Korean version instead features a new song about Mario and Luigi.
"Super Mario"[edit]

"Super Mario" serves as the intro to the show in the first Italian version and the European Spanish version, despite the song originally being in Italian. The song contains various clips of episodes with the show's title, Super Mario, appearing at the end in the Italian version, while several credits appear in the European Spanish version.
Super Mario is a real song by Italian singer Cristina D'Avena, with the original song being longer than the one used in the show. Due to the song being as long as both versions of "The Mario Rap" combined, it only plays before every live-action episode with no replacement song being played before the animated segments.
Later Italian airings play a translated version of "The Mario Rap" instead.
"Mario and Luigi"[edit]

"Mario and Luigi" is a song in the Korean dub of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, playing in the intro of the show, replacing the "Mario Bros. Rap" from the original.
"Club Mario"[edit]

"Club Mario" plays before every Club Mario episode, except online versions of "The Unzappables", replacing "The Mario Rap".
"Surfin' Bird"[edit]

In the episode "The Bird! The Bird!", a cover of "Surfin' Bird" by The Red Rocker's[sic] plays when the Giant Birdo takes care of Toad and when Mario, Toad, and the Giant Birdo throw vegetables at King Koopa and his Koopa Pack. The song lasts for 1 minute and 4 seconds in total.
"Bad"[edit]

In the episode "King Mario of Cramalot", a cover of "Bad" plays when the Mario Bros., Princess Toadstool, Toad, King Koopa, and his Koopa Pack fight and when Mario and King Koopa resume their fighting. The song lasts for 1 minute and 34 seconds in total.

In the episode "Butch Mario & The Luigi Kid", a cover of "Rawhide" by The Starlite Singers plays when the Mario Bros. and Toad ride on their Ostros to escape a boulder that Sheriff Mouser released.

In the episode "Mario's Magic Carpet", a cover of "Magic Carpet Ride" by The Starlite Singers plays when the Mario Bros., Toad, and the genie give chase using a slightly shoddy magic carpet to rescue Princess Toadstool from the clutches of King Koopa. The song lasts for 1 minute and 9 seconds.

In the episode "The Great Gladiator Gig", a cover of "Shaddap You Face" plays when the Mario Bros. use a chariot in an attempt to arrive at the Linguini Empire Colosseum's arena. The song lasts for 1 minute and 40 seconds.

"I Heard It Through the Grapevine"[edit]

In the episode "Mario and the Beanstalk", a cover of "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" by The Starlite Singers plays when Mario and the others climb their way to the top of the beanstalk and when the Mario Bros., Princess Toadstool, Toad, and Goosey make their way through the crack on the floor. The song lasts for 1 minute and 27 seconds in total. Every instance of "Grapevine" was instead changed to "bean vine" in the episode's cover, in reference to the beanstalk.

In the episode "Brooklyn Bound", a cover of Danger Zone by Graham Blvd plays as Mario and co. struggle to not fall of a cliff and into lava and eventually as Super Mario and the others fly to the edge of it. That song later plays in the episode "Mario and the Red Baron Koopa", when Mario has the final dogfight with the Red Baron Koopa, and lasts for 39 seconds.
