Car Land is a badlands appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Toad Warriors". It is primarily a large, mostly barren desert with a long stretch of road running through it, the Rebel Fort being located along the road. Besides the Rebel Fort and huge fields of sand, not much else is in Car Land, except for several cliffs, including the Grand Koopa Canyon. Despite its name, there does not seem to be many cars in Car Land.
During the episode, King-of-the-Road Koopa steals all of the spaghetti sauce in Car Land. However, a band of mushroom rebels is making their own, and Mario and his friends arrive in Car Land in their convertible to meet them at the Rebel Fort.
Car Land's appearance is primarily taken from the Australian Outback's appearance in the post-apocalyptic dystopian action film Mad Max 2.
