Wheel of Misfortune is a game show appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "On Her Majesty's Sewer Service". It stars Vampa White as the hostess who spins a wheel which decides the fate of the contestant.

In the episode, after Koopfinger captures Mario and Luigi, he decides to play a game of Wheel of Misfortune to decide their fate. After Vampa White spins the wheel, it lands on the "Tunnel of Doom", and the Mario Brothers are immediately transported there via a trap door.

Later, when Mario and Luigi are fighting against the Koopa Pack, Vanna White returns with the Wheel of Misfortune, and blows a Fireball kiss towards Mario. He deflects it with his atomic screw causing it to defeat Mouser and afterwards Vampa, whose dress was caught on the wheel while she attempted to escape. The fireball spins the wheel once more after Vampa gets defeated; the wheel lands on "Koopa Kaput!" just as Mario and Luigi stop Koopfinger from retreating.

Naming[edit]

The name is a parody of the 1975 American game show Wheel of Fortune.
